About
The acronym SIAMPI means Social Impact Assessment Methods for research and funding instruments through the study of Productive Interactions between science and society.
The project aims at developing methods for the assessment of the social impact of scientific research. SIAMPI conducts studies in four research areas: health research, ICT, nano research, social and human sciences, and in four countries: the Netherlands, France, Spain and the UK.
SIAMPI is funded by the Capacities Programme of the 7th Framework Programme of the European Commission and runs between March 2009 and March 2011.
The SIAMPI consortium consists of the following partners:

- Rathenau Institute (the Netherlands)
- Ingenio, an institute of the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) and the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) (Spain)
- Maisons de Sciences de l’Homme (France)
- University of Manchester (UK)
